So there I am driving along through Victoria’s traffic mayhem and as I sit listening to one of the mixes for our up coming CD release (honest it is coming) a flat bed tow truck drives by with John Lennons yellow Rolls Royce on the back!!! I sat in awe looking at it just thinking how cool and odd it is and “What are the chances of this happening?” when it dawns in me I better take a picture or else no one will believe me….

A recent UVIC study shows that wearing Sutcliffe’s merchandise actually makes you smarter!! I decided to test this theory and after 3 moves my daughter Paisley said “Check mate Dadda”… Unbelievable!!

Well it has been a busy summer and even though the weather is still amazing fall is on it’s way…. Okay enough about the weather!!

I have been busily trying to finish the mixing of our live disk and I am happy to say it is 98% done…. We decided to have a group from Liverpool who could really play redo all of our parts so it actually sounds quite good

Sadly we won’t have any for the gig this Wednesday at the Strath but a week from now Shaun will be banging at your door…. Just don’t make the mistake of feeding him!! That goes for any musician that shows up at your door….

Well it is starting to become a fading memory but our week in Liverpool (kicking out some serious tunage for the Brits) can be viewed over and over and over…. Thanks to kind folks posting some clips on YouTube.

Well it had to end at some point

After singing a tune with the Tearaways -Terry and Chuck’s silhoutes can be made out singing and dancing like teenage girls

Finally Chuck collapsed and we had to drag him out of the club…

Here we are back on the boat where our trip started….. The partying continues…..This I how we roll….

Last Day in Liverpool

Well our final day was spent watching other bands and taking some promo shots of our group.

I had asked a nice Argentinean guy if he would take some photos of us around 4pm…. Upon arrival I realised I was in the movie “Lost in Translation” as he thought I just wanted the photos he had taken of us the day before Luckily Shaun saved the day with his camera and I bought a stand to prop it up….. The guys enjoyed watching me run back and forth and at least one Sutcliffe found out how hard being a super model really is

I will get those photos up but till then here are some of my favorite non-music related shots….

Time to pack up an go watch the last few bands left standing…. Some groups have upwards of fifteen shows during the week and as Terry has proclaimed a few times it will be “Death by Beatles!!!”

Hard to believe that we are done!

Most of the streets downtown were closed to traffic as it was “Bank Holiday”….. Lots of free out door music and very drunk people

Wow it is marathon day…. We are just waiting to go on for Set Nine at 4:30 am!!! Crazy…. And the place is still full!!

Anyways here are some highlights from the day(daze??)….

Terry succumbed to the grind and feel asleep on the stage!!

We even found a way to silence Chuck as his voice is gone……

Well today is the marathon day… We finished our first set and then we have three more to go ending at 5am tomorrow!!!

Here is Chuck “educating” the crowd in the proper use of Canadian words like “Toque”….. Safe to say he lost them at “Coureurs de bois”…..
